Love them or hate them, musician Taylor Swift and reality TV star Kim Kardashian are two of the most-talked-about celebrities in the world and neither seems to be content to settle for second place!
The pair are known for their very public feuds, and now, hot on the heels of Taylor's latest album release, Kim has reignited a spat from 2016.
Taylor and Kim's hatred of one another began back at the 2009 MTV Video Awards when Kanye West, who is now Kim's husband, interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech for Best Female Video to say that Beyoncé should have won.
Taylor, who is known for getting the last word in her relationships by writing critic song lyrics about her famous exes, shot back at Kanye with several songs penned about him. Both 'Mean' and 'Innocent' are supposedly about the American rapper.
Taylor's new album, Reputation, is chock full of songs about Kim and Kanye, and it can be considered a revenge album with singles titled 'Look What You Made Me Do', 'This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things' and 'I Did Something Bad'.
The album's lyrics make multiple references to Taylor's dislike of 37-year-old Kim and 40-year-old Kanye and promotion for the album frequently included snake artwork and animated GIFs on social media. Kim frequently uses the snake emoji to represent Taylor.
