Remember back in March when Katy Perry came under fire for behaving inappropriately towards a 19-year-old American Idol contestant?
After admitting that he had never kissed a girl, Perry ordered the teenager to come over to the judge's panel and give her a kiss on the cheek.
But instead of complying with her own request, when the young man did come over to kiss the 33-year-old singer on the cheek, she swiftly turned her mouth so that both their lips met.
This non-consensual kiss prompted many viewers to suggest that she had sexually assaulted him.
Rewatch the awkward moment here:
They took her to task for what they perceived was a double standard.
“It was a forced sexual act,” one viewer tweeted. “Imagine if this was from a male judge. Has @katyperry not taken anything from the #metoo movement?”
But it has since emerged from the show's most recent episode that Perry isn't the only person on the show to make what many have deemed an inappropriate sexual advance:
Long-serving American Idol host, Ryan Seacrest, has been caught making suggestive remarks to none other than pop megastar and judge, Katy Perry.
