Photography has existed since the early 1800s, with the earliest known photograph being taken in 1826, depicting French inventor Nicéphore Niépce’s view from a window. It was hardly the most exhilarating photo you’ll ever see, but it was a huge step towards the age of photography we have today.
It is estimated that humans took 1.2 trillion photos in 2017, as people scramble to capture every possible moment on their lives on camera. However, with so many cell phone apps and photoshop software around these days, how can we know what’s really real?
