Proof That Starring In Harry Potter Meant You’d Grow Up To Be A Slammin’ Hottie

If you love the Harry Potter series, or just love attractive people, then you have most certainly come to the right place. Recognize those faces of members of the Wizarding World below? Well, you NEED to check them out now, because they are H-O-T! This is what happened to the stars of the magical franchise after the Battle of Hogwarts.

It’s time to turn back the clock – or perhaps the time turner – and venture into the world of Harry Potter, where all of their actors turned out to be gorgeous specimens of celebrities that we are just dying to see again. Where are these hotties now? It’s time to find out…

Harry Potter Actors: Now And Then

J.K. Rowling’s series really took off, and we all fell in love with the world where magic really was a possibility. We followed those movies all the way from the Sorcerer’s Stone until Voldemort’s final demise, and we loved every single bit of it. But aren’t you keen to see what those Hogwarts students we loved so much look like now? Trust me, it isn’t just Neville Longbottom that became super attractive…

Bill Weasley (Domhnall Gleeson)

Isn’t it amazing to think that the eldest Weasley brother, Bill, turned out to be so handsome? And despite Ron saving Fleur Delacour’s sister in the Triwizard Tournament, it’s Bill that marries Fleur eventually.

That handsome man is pretty fantastic, but in reality, the character is played by Domhnall Gleeson, who is still budding to become an even bigger actor. Where else have we seen him? Well, he managed to bag roles in both Star Wars and The Revenant movies, and apparently has a role in the upcoming live action movie Peter Rabbit.

Padma Patil (Afshan Azad)

Isn’t it such a shock to think that Ron Weasley was annoyed that he had taken Padma Patil to the Yule Ball, whilst Viktor Krum took Hermione? Well, look at Padma now…

She is an absolute beauty. Her real name is Afshan Azad, and her Instagram has already been flocked by fans who can’t get enough of her steamy snaps! Did you know that at first, she only auditioned for the role for a laugh, saying that she attended the audition, “just for the fun of it”? She had no idea the Harry Potter movies would become so big!

Lee Jordan (Luke Youngblood)

Oh yes, it was the long hair from the distance that got my seven-year-old self so confused. But look at Lee Jordan now, he is mighty fine!

The actor who played Lee Jordan was indeed Luke Youngblood, which is an even cooler name in itself. He was a commentator for Quidditch, and went on to have his own radio show in the books, but we never heard what happened to him after that. We all like to think Lee Jordan continued with Quidditch commentary! Did you know Luke also played Ben in the Tracy Beaker series?

Pansy Parkinson (Scarlett Byrne)

If there is a female version of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter books, then it would definitely have to be Pansy Parkinson, who is ironically Draco’s girlfriend.

Pansy loved to irritate Harry and his friends, and when the Dark Lord did rise, she was more than happy to hand Harry over to him. Remember that classic line, “What are we waiting for? Get him!” After that, Professor McGonnagal put all the Slytherins in the dungeons. Pansy was also a member of the Inquisitorial Squad, when Dolores Umbridge was the Head Teacher. Scary!

Dean Thomas (Alfie Enoch)

Oh yes, it was Dean Thomas! Both Ron and Harry were pretty mad when they saw Dean and Ginny kissing a little too much whilst drinking their butter beers in Hogsmeade.

But look, from the little smart kid who recognised that Neville had been giving a Remembrall, (the glass ball that turns red inside when you have forgotten something?), he’s grown to become this very handsome, sophisticated man. And we like it. Alfie Enoch  recently starred in the drama How to Get Away with Murder too.

Fleur Delacour (Clémence Poésy)

Oh yes, it’s the beautiful Fleur Delacour, the Triwizard Champion from Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. She was a French student, and survived the Triwizard Tournament.

Fleur Delacour goes on to meet Bill Weasley whilst working at Gringotts bank and practicing her English, and then they get married and have a beautiful wedding. Sadly the wedding is interrupted by Death Eaters, as the news of Voldemort’s return is announced. The actress Clémence Poésy has gone on to be probably the most beautiful actress alive – in my humble opinion.

Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton)

We all remember the Slytherin boy who was a slimy little wart, and of course, Harry’s worst enemy. But did you know that the actor Tom Felton was one of the loveliest actors towards his fans?

It’s seems great that Draco lived under his parents’ cowardly ways, and did become a Death Eater at a very young age. He helped the other Death Eaters get into Hogwarts, by using the Vanishing Cabinet that was in the room of requirement. Tom Felton was also in the movie Rise of the Planet of the Apes as well as a number of other more recent dramas.

Katie Bell (Georgina Leonidas)

Yes, it was Katie Bell who doesn’t remember anything about finding the Opal Necklace that had been cursed and tortured poor Katie. Harry, Ron and Hermione found her as she flew up in the air above the ground.

Katie had been bewitched to take the necklace to Dumbledore, in Malfoy’s attempt to murder him. But back to Katie Bell… she was a Chaser for Gryffindor in the team, and turned out to be a really good one too, because she played for most of the seasons for Gryffindor. The actress Georgina Leonidas you might recognise from The Basil Brush Show as Molly.

Fred And George Weasley (James and Oliver Phelps)

It’s Fred and George, the two cheeky twins who didn’t quite survive the whole series. Sadly, whereas George loses an ear, it’s Fred that dies in the Battle of Hogwarts.

But now the two twins are more handsome than ever! They got rid of their hair, and look at how attractive they are now! The Phelps twins are extremely good looking and both very dateable. If you were wondering, James is the younger twin by 13 minutes, and it’s James that plays Fred.

Luna Lovegood (Evanna Lynch)

Everybody loves a little bit of Luna Lovegood! Who wouldn’t? Well, she might be a very strange witch, but she certainly is very attractive!

Everyone thought that Luna ended up marrying Neville, but they just had a good friendship the whole way through. In fact, Luna ended up marrying Rolf Scamander, a naturalist and the Chief Consulting Magizoologist at the Daily Prophet. Cool, huh? If you do remember, Luna’s Patronus was a hare.

Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe)

It’s the one and only, the boy who lived… oh yes, it’s Harry Potter himself! He’s the star of all the books (and all the movies) but we can’t not think of Daniel Radcliffe when we say Harry Potter.

Well, now Daniel Radcliffe’s face is now is what we all call “Harry Potter”, did you know that “Harry Potter” is also in the movie The Woman in Black? He’s pretty good in it too, actually. Although it definitely makes me jump out of my seat! He is also in the sequel Now You See Me 2. So he really has actually gone on to do other things.

Nymphadora Tonks (Natalia Tena)

Did you know that Lupin’s wife, Nymphadora Tonks (often called Dora) was actually in Charlie Weasley’s year at Hogwarts, and was a Hufflepuff?

Well, Nymphadora is actually not wholly human, but she is a Metamorphmagus, which is a human that can contort her appearance at will, no Polyjuice potions needed. Technically, she is related to Harry. Sirius talks about his cousin Andromeda, who was burnt off the family tree for marrying  muggle-born. Andromeda is Nymphadora’s mother. It is Bellatrix Lestrange, who is also Andromeda’s big sister who kills Nymphadora in the Battle of Hogwarts.

Neville Longbottom (Matthew Lewis)

I’m not sure about you, but have you SEEN Neville Longbottom now! He is the sexiest man alive. Literally. Just google him in his underwear shoot and you’ll get my drift.

Can you believe that the actor Matthew Lewis went from being an ugly little chubby kid, who then slays Nagini and turns into the God of everything awesome? Neville Longbottom did a lot for Dumbledore’s Army and fought hard to stop Voldemort from rising and taking over the Wizarding World. And Matthew Lewis, you can come again dear sir! You know Neville ended up marrying Hannah Abbot from Hufflepuff? You’ll recognize her, trust me.

Hermione Granger (Emma Watson)

Now the star of many huge movies out there, her recent rendition in the live action of Beauty and the Beast had people going crazy with joy.

Whoever thought Hermione Granger would turn out to be such a stunner? Emma Watson has definitely made her mark on the world, and it seems that she has become even more beautiful as the years have gone by. And what of Hermione Granger? Well she became the Minister of Magic, and also married her best friend Ron Weasley. Her two kids were named Rose and Hugo.

Cedric Diggory (Robert Pattinson)

Cedric Diggory. Yes, he was one of the Triwizard Champions that reigned from Hogwarts, but unfortunately, although he technically won the Triwizard Tournament, he was killed shortly after.

Cedric Diggory died not minutes after Harry and him and both reached for the Triwizard Cup, which Barty Crouch Jr. had turned into a portkey, meaning that both boys were transported to the graveyard where Voldemort awaited. But who did Cedric turn out to be? He might not have lasted long in the books, but Robert Pattinson eventually made his mark playing Edward Cullen in the Twilight series. The world went crazy for him.

Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright)

Can you remember when Ginny meets Harry when she is just a little kid, and he has to run through platforms 9 and 10 to get  to platform nine and three quarters?

Little Ginny Weasley! Whoever thought she would be the one to win the heart of Harry Potter when she grew older? I always wondered how Ron felt about the fact that Ginny and Harry got together in the end. But what ever happened to the actress Bonnie Wright? Well, you’ll soon see her in her latest movie The Highway is for Gamblers. Exciting!

Gregory Goyle (Josh Herdman)

Do you remember Gregory Goyle, Malfoy’s terrible sidekick? Crabbe and Goyle were the equivalent of two goons, following Malfoy around everywhere they went.

But wow, did Gregory Goyle get a good body once the series had ended! In 2016, he decided to become an MMA boxer, saying that, “I chose MMA because I love the sport. It’s raw, exciting and unpredictable. I find it more interesting than boxing although I appreciate the beauty and art in boxing.” What a man!

Cho Chang (Katie Leung)

Remember that kiss between Cho Chang and Harry Potter in the Room of Requirement? Well, we do. But look at Cho now!

We’d all be heartbroken if Cedric Diggory was our boyfriend and had been killed off by Voldemort – he was too handsome to die – but what ever became of Cho Chang? Well, after her friend betrayed Dumbledore’s Army, she did return to help in the Battle of Hogwarts during the second wizarding war. She survived, and ended up marrying a muggle.

Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint)

Ron Weasley was Harry’s best friend throughout their time at Hogwarts school together. We know everything about Ron, from his big family, to his worst fears (that’s spiders, if you didn’t know).

Rupert Grint has continued with his acting career, and even starred beside our beloved Alan Rickman in the movie CBGB back in 2013. He was also in the movie Moonwalkers from 2015. He also has been doing a lot of charity work since the movies, having supported Little Star Award, stating, “I think that it’s wonderful that Cancer Research UK is helping to bring a little bit of magic to the children’s lives in this way.”

Hannah Abbott (Charlotte Skeoch)

If you’re a real Harry Potter fan, you’ll recognize this girl who laughs at Harry whilst wearing a ‘Potter Stinks’ badge as the Hufflepuff Hannah Abbott.

Well here’s a shocker for you – did you know that she ends up marrying Neville Longbottom? Hannah Abbott ends up becoming the next landlady for the Leaky Cauldron, whilst Neville works as the Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts. But look at her now, Charlotte Skeoch is a beauty! It’s a shame her character was taken over by another actress, Louisa Warren, in the last two movies.

Seamus Finnegan (Devon Murray)

Do you remember Seamus Finnegan’s first attempt at magic whilst in the Great Hall? “Eye of rabbit, harp string hum, turn this water into rum…”

Why was it that Seamus Finnegan seemed to be an expert at exploding things, including his feather in his Charms class, taken by Professor Flitwick. In fact, in the Battle of Hogwarts, Professor McGonnagal suggests they blow up the wooden bridge from the Forbidden Forest leading to the school, saying, “Why don’t you confer with Mr Finnigan? As I recall, he has a particular proclivity for pyrotechnics.

Parvati Patil (Shefali Chowdhury)

Oh yes, it’s Parvati Patil, Padma’s sister. Although unlike the Weasley twins, the Patil sisters aren’t actually played by twins in real life – in fact, the two actresses aren’t even related.

Here’s a fun fact for all of you out there, did you know that Parvati and Padma were sorted into different houses in the books? While Parvati was a Gryffindor, Padma was actually a Ravenclaw. Although both help out in the Battle of Hogwarts and train under Harry’s leadership. You might have noticed it isn’t Shefali in the third movie, Sitara Shah plays Parvati then.

Colin Creevey (Hugh Mitchell)

It’s Colin Creevey, the little kid who just loved Harry Potter, so was over the moon to be a Gryffindor. He went round taking photos all the time…

Colin was petrified in his first year at Hogwarts, having looked through his lens at the basilisk. But luckily, he was revived by the Mandrake roots. Sadly however, he died during the battle of Hogwarts, as Neville Longbottom and Oliver Wood carried his body back into the Great Hall. Luckily, we still have the actor Hugh Mitchell – he’s been a couple of random TV episodes since.

Lavender Brown (Jessie Cave)

It was as if Ron had drank the Felix Felicis and all his dreams had come true… except the fact that Ron always fancied Hermione, and now had Lavender Brown on his tail! Not to mention that Harry kept the ‘Liquid Luck’ for himself.

Now Lavender Brown was played by someone else before Jessie Cave came on to the scene, simply because her character went from being a non-talking role to a speaking role. We loved when Lavender storms off after Ron “breaks up with her” by saying Hermione’s name in his sleep. Did you know they had to share a dormitory together too? Hermione and Lavender, yeah! That must have been an awkward conversation at night!

26. Dudley Dursley (Harry Melling)

I can’t believe he made the list but Dudley Dursley is here too. Can you believe it! Well, after playing the chubby, pompous and cruel boy that Harry was forced to live with, he now looks like this…

Yes, the actor Harry Melling went on a diet and with exercise and good food, he lost a stack of weight after the series ended! Now he looks like an entirely different kid altogether. Here’s a fun fact you didn’t know, in real life, Harry Melling’ maternal grandfather is none other than Patrick Troughton, who played the second ever Doctor in the Doctor Who TV series. Cool, huh?

And that is that ladies and gentleman! It’s incredible to think that so many of these kids turned out to be so attractive.
