So as we all know (some of us more begrudgingly than others), in February of this year, Kylie Jenner gave birth to Stormi Webster after keeping the entire pregnancy secret (well, sort of).
And now the reality TV star-turned-businesswoman has posted a photo of her daughter Stormi’s real dad. She did so in response to the all the rumors going around that her three-month-old baby girl was not fathered by rapper Travis Scott.
Remember when Ellen claimed she could tell by Khloe Kardashian’s eyes that Kylie Jenner was pregnant?
While it was being reported in September 2017, that the lip kit entrepreneur was expecting her child with Travis, the 20-year-old was incredibly coy about it, refusing to confirm the rumors.
Kylie had been seeing Travis after ending it with her on/off boyfriend Tyga back in May 2016.
And up until a few weeks ago, there was no doubt about the fact that the 26-year-old rapper was the father of her baby. Well, apart from when the pregnancy was first reported and her ex-boyfriend of four years, Tyga, raised everyone’s suspicions.
Tyga did this by posting screenshot on Snapchat of a TMZ story on the pregnancy, adding “Hell nah that’s my kid” along with some mischievous devil emojis.
He quickly deleted the post, but it was too late – his followers had already seen it and taken their own screenshots.
But alas, in November, the 28-year-old shut down the rumors (that he initially fuelled) and told The Sun that the story wasn’t true.
“I didn’t comment on anything, I didn’t comment on anything, it was a fake story,” he said. “It’s all a fake story.”
And now plenty of people are casting fresh new doubts over whether Scott really is Stormi’s dad or not.
People (with far too much time on their hands), began suggesting that the socialite’s former bodyguard, Tim Chung, was Stormi’s father.
And why is that? Well, he looks uncannily like the infant.
Take a look at this:
Chung has since vehemently denied the damning rumors in a statement reported by TMZ:
“I am a very private person and would normally never answer to gossip and stories that are so ridiculous that they are laughable.
“Out of deep respect for Kylie, Travis, their daughter together and their families, I would like to set the record straight that my interactions with Kylie and her family have been limited in strictly a professional capacity only.
“There is no story here and I ask that the media no longer include me in any narrative that is incredibly disrespectful to their family.”
And it’s not just Chung who finds the suggestion that Kylie was impregnated by her bodyguard ridiculous.
A source who told Hollywood Life:
“Kylie thinks it’s hilarious that fans think her bodyguard could be her baby daddy and not Travis. Travis even got a huge kick out of it and laughed at the outrageous meme. Babies can look like anyone when they’re that young, so Kylie and Travis think it is stupid that people are drawing that connection and haven’t even given it a second thought.”
And now Kylie has chosen to confirm the identity of Stormi’s dad, by posting an Instagram picture of herself and Travis, captioning it “Stormi’s parents”.
So now you’ve heard it straight from the horse’s mouth – Travis Scott is the father.
