When you are the son of the President of the United States of America, a certain amount of media attention is, perhaps, to be expected.
When that President happens to be as polarising and newsworthy as Donald Trump has proven to be, some would say it is inevitable.
Donald Trump Jr. has though, for the most part, managed to stay out of the limelight during his father’s tenure in the White House thus far. It was his sister, Ivanka, who found herself in the midst of a media storm after her clothing line was dropped by Nordstrom, prompting Counselor to the President Kellyanne Conway’s now-infamous urges to the public to go and buy the President’s daughter’s products, comments that Democrats have claimed should be investigated.
It seems now, though, that Donald Trump Jr. is exempt from the exposure no longer, after a profile entitled Donald Trump Junior Is His Own Kind of Trump was published by the New York Times alongside an image of Trump Jr perched on the stump of a tree in the woods, staring into the middle distance with a wistful look on his face.
Unsurprisingly, it wasn’t long before the internet was ablaze with memes and comments on the image. Here are some of the best.

The Trump administration was left frustrated once again last week, after their updated version of the travel ban on people from seven countries from entering the United States was temporarily blocked by Judges in Hawaii and Maryland. The ban had been intended to come into effect on 16 March, but was blocked before it could be implemented. The original travel ban was put into place practically without warning on 27 January, sparking scenes of chaos and confusion at airports across the US, before it was subsequently blocked in court.
